Accessible Kitchen

Our accessible kitchen allows students to participate in our many cooking activities whatever their ability.

We have a large kitchen with adapted equipment, rise and fall tables and sinks that allow all our students to participate.

Cooking sessions also offer a sensory experience especially with smell and taste. Students can experience different flavours as they cook. In cooking sessions we support our students to make choices about what to cook as well as providing opportunities to enhance independent skills, working together and having fun. Each week a number of students run our Tea Shop, developing their communication and interactive skills while serving their produce to staff and students alike.
