Sensory Garden Opening

We had a wonderful day opening up our new Children's Centre Sensory Garden to our families.
Sensory Garden Opening

The garden was made possible by the very generous donation made by the MG Owner's Club and we were delighted to have many of them join us along with some of their great classic cars!

George, Max and Freddie helped to cut the ribbon on the sensory garden and many of the children enjoyed sitting in the cars and pretending they were going on journeys. Barbara and Terry from the MG Owner's Club donated some herbs, which Max and volunteer Michael enjoyed planting that afternoon with Barbara’s help. Our garden is looking beautiful.

We also received a fantastic £2000 cheque from Norwich MG Owner's Club, which we are going to be able to spend on replacing sensory room equipment such as our bubble tube and fibre optics. This will make a big difference to the many children who use this special space.

It is fantastic to have the Club's continued support and everyone at the Children’s Service is really looking forward to seeing them again when they next visit.

A huge green-fingered thank you to you all!
