Stay and Play / Nurture Group Assistant (voluntary)

Looking for a new challenge? Want to give something back to the community?

We have a fantastic opportunity for volunteers to work as part of two of our Stay and Play groups (Sensory Bees and Active Bees) aimed at under-fives with additional needs, and our Nurture Group aimed at babies who have been discharged from the Neo-natal unit.

Sensory Bees

Tuesdays 10-11.30am and 1-2.30pm (term time only)
Sensory Bees explores sensory stimulation through specialist equipment and finding ways to create sensory experience at home.

Active Bees

Thursdays 10-11am (term time only)
Active Bees is a brand new group aimed at children under 5 years who have suspected or diagnosis of Autism or ADHD. Active Bees includes rocking, rolling, climbing and jumping. Active Bees encourages children to play and get active with soft play equipment and specialist trampoline.
The Nurture Group

Fortnightly on a Wednesday 10.30-12pm (it doesn’t run in August)
Our Nurture Group is aimed at babies who have been recently discharged from the Neo-Natal unit at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. This group is held over a 16 week period held fortnightly so we would need someone to commit to a minimum of 16 weeks.
