We are actively looking for passionate people who are enthusiastic about contributing their experiences and knowledge to further our charitable impact. Whether you’re a seasoned trustee or someone exploring this role for the first time, we encourage you to consider this unique opportunity to be part of our dynamic team. All training will be provided to equip you with the skills and tools necessary to fulfil the role.

Sue Coombe, the chair of our board, said “The role of trustees is vital to ensure good governance, and that the money we receive from our donors is spent well and wisely.  Being a trustee for The Hamlet involves working with a friendly, interesting and committed team of trustees who bring a range of skills and experience to our board.   It is a demanding but rewarding role, and I have learned, and am still learning so much.  I thoroughly enjoy working with my fellow trustees and our dedicated senior management team for the benefit of such a worthwhile charity, and the children, young people and families we support”.

At The Hamlet, we believe that making a positive impact begins with individuals who understand and appreciate the significance of our work. We are looking for individuals who share our commitment to the community and are dedicated to helping us continue supporting our children, young people, and adults, who heavily rely on us across Norfolk.

The Hamlet is undergoing significant transformations with the recent launch of our new brand and exciting fundraising campaign. Joining our board as a trustee means being part of a lively, committed, and supportive team who are at the forefront of positive change within our community.

If joining us seems like something you would be interested in, then please download our application form, or for an informal chat about the role, please contact our Chair, Sue Coombe, at
