Services at our children’s service are slowly beginning to return as restrictions due to the coronavirus pandemic ease.
Do you have a passion for supporting children aged 2-5 years old as they begin their educational journey at the Hamlet.
Are you available for 1 session per week on an ongoing basis during term time to support in our busy unique preschool?
Below are a few of the tasks that you will complete as a preschool volunteer
- Support children to join in activities and develop their play skills
- Help staff to prepare exciting learning opportunities for the children
- Support children to be happy and feel safe in their environment.
- Help staff to keep the environment clean and tidy.
While you don’t need any formal training, we ask that you would be confident in following instructions independently.
Preschool sessions are 9-2.30pm in school term time only. We are looking for volunteers to commit to one day per week as a minimum, but if you’re able to volunteer for more than one session a day/week, that’s great!
Complete an Expression of Interest form and let us know when you can help!
Please send completed Expression of Interest forms to firstname.lastname@example.org
Alternatively ring Jayne Buckingham, Acting Senior Manager for children's service to discuss this opportunity further.
The Hamlet is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment
All volunteer positions working with children are subject to satisfactory references and a DBS check.
Note: There is a small admin fee payable to the company that processes our checks by the volunteer.
