On Saturday 11th May 2019 between 10.30am-2.30pm members and staff would like to invite you to come and visit The Hamlet Adult Centre, Ella Road, Norwich, NR1 4BP
The event will be a chance to chat with staff about what Ella Road can offer, take a look at some of the latest technology and equipment used, and view the facilities on premise including the state of the art music suite.
More specifically this will be an opportunity to learn about our Out of Hours Clubs. Lorraine Ewing manager said: "On this day our Saturday Out of Hours Club will be running. At this event I really want to let people know more about this part of our service. Out of Hours is special because people deserve a social life. They should be able to access activities in the community like the pub or cinema. Spend time with their friends and be away from their parent."
Out of Hours Club allows anyone over the age of 16 with a disability or complex health need, including those who have left our day services, to continue to develop and grow the friendships they have made at The Hamlet or elsewhere. Members also have opportunities to continue to meet and socialise with new people.
The kettle will be on and the managers present to talk about how to become a member of Out of Hours Club and answer any questions you may have.
Out of Hours relies on the support of enthusiastic and committed volunteers. If you think you could give up a few hours to support one of our weekend or evening clubs then contact us today. See link for more information about becoming a volunteer at The Hamlet.
