So why did you choose to raise money for The Hamlet, Frazer?
“I chose to run the marathon for The Hamlet as they are a fantastic charity who do amazing work with local children and young adults with a large variety of disabilities.”
How was your recent visit to our Adult and Children’s Centres?
“(I was impressed) on one of my recent visits to The Hamlet centres to see how well equipped and organised the centres were... (The students could) share time with friends, make music, art work and generally have a great time whilst at the centres. I could see the difference the state of the art equipment made to everyday life for the children and students and know I needed to do my best to help raise funds so The Hamlet could continue their fantastic work and also supply further equipment to enhance the experience whilst at the centres.”
What made you want to take on the challenge of the London Marathon?
“The London Marathon has always been a challenge I fancied taking on but I always pushed it back or put it off as I knew it would be extremely difficult. I am currently training three times a week and slowly increasing my running distances and beating my best times as a result of the hard work. I’m looking forward to continuing to improve and reaching my end goal.”
