Frozen Light Theatre Company approached The Hamlet in order to work with our Adults' Centre to get feedback on some of their ideas for a new show they are premiering in 2020. The company creates exciting and original multi-sensory theatre for audiences with profound and multiple learning disabilities. For their new production they are looking to make a multi-sensory choir experience. Frozen Light visited with a team of 15 professional singers from the local area who performed some of their material for the new performance. Students provided valuable feedback on their ideas which will help shape the final show.
Co-artistic director Lucy Garland said: "We were really pleased to be able to work with The Hamlet guys. Their feedback has really helped us with our ideas for this production. It was especially lovely to see some students' who are fans of our work and regular audience members!"
Maxine Free, Behaviour and Communication Development Lead at the adult centre said: "It was good to work with Frozen Light. The students reactions to the singing were really interesting to watch and we were able to give some useful critical feedback to the directors."
We can't reveal to much about this exciting new show from Frozen Light, but can say that the production will premier in Norwich sometime next year so keep an eye on their website and facebook page for further information.
