On Sunday 16th December staff members Matt and Pauline will be rising early to complete a Santa Fun Run in aid of making money for The Hamlet Christmas Appeal.
Pauline said: "It was Matt's idea! I'm not sure how I managed to get dragged into it, but I know it will be fun and help raise money for the appeal. I really hope lots of people can join us!"
The run stretches for 3 miles on 'Stans Walk' a route that runs through the former RAF airfield between the town of Watton and village of Griston.
Matt commented: "Children's Manager Emily Lown inspired me to do something for the appeal when I heard about her wearing Christmas jumpers throughout December to raise money. I thought the Santa run would be a laugh and the run ends up back at the Waggon and Horses pub in Griston so I know there is a pint in it for me!"
