On Saturday the 18th May 2019, Steve will be entering the PARA's 10 which is an endurance race organised by the Parachute Regiment. The competitor is required to complete a 10 mile cross country route carrying a 35Ib bergen (rucksack) wearing combat trousers and boots! WOW!
When asked why he is doing this Steve said: "In early 2018 our son Hew was diagnosed with Autism and since September he has been attending the Children's nursery at the Hamlet Centre, Johnson Place. It is extremely difficult to find the right words to describe how amazing the people who work and volunteer at Hamlet are, and the enormous difference they make to the lives of families like us. They provide light and hope in an otherwise sometimes dark and scary place. Please help me to help them continue to support other families."
Steve is hoping to raise £500 for our charity! We think he is amazing for taking on this challenge and really want to support him as much as possible to achieve his quest.
