Farewell Fiona

Farewell and good luck Fiona, long serving Children’s Centre Administrator at The Hamlet.
Farewell Fiona

Fiona first joined The Hamlet Charity back in 2005 when we had only the one centre at Ella Road. She has been an integral part of The Hamlet family for so long and will be missed. We wish her lots of luck as she embarks on a new adventure.

Fiona had this message for everyone who knew her at The Hamlet…

“I really would like to say a mighty big thank you to all the hundreds of families, staff and volunteers I have met during my journey with The Hamlet.

It does seem strange to think that when I started there were no Saturday short breaks and preschool was just a couple of mornings a week and when summer holidays came, the adult service would move out of Ella Road leaving us with the run of the whole building!

Moving the children’s service to the St. Raphael club helped us to expand the whole year through. It felt extra special because that is where the founders Jack & Margaret Wymer met.

I wish you all and all those yet to come to The Hamlet all the very best. Thank you for my heart full of treasured memories.”

We are always interested to hear from people who might be interested in volunteering with us or might like to join our board of Trustees at The Hamlet. Click HERE for more information or email admin@thehamletcharity.org.uk to express an interest.
