Live music fest in aid of raising funds for The Hamlet
Hamlet parent Shannon, dad to 3 boys with Autism, is organising an amazing weekend of live music for the good folk of East Anglia and at the same time raising vital funds for The Hamlet Charity.
THE Norwich A.I.R Fest 2021 which will take place on Friday 24th to Sunday 26th September will celebrate the advent of live music finally returning to our community. Shannon who is a musician, songwriter and gig coordinator said, "despite the difficulties the pandemic has caused for health & social care services and teams across the country, The Hamlet Charity has remained a beacon of joy for my children. I feel compelled to try and show both mine and The East Anglia region's appreciation for this brilliant place and it's wonderful, dedicated staff - hence the creation of The Norwich A.I.R Fest 2021!"
The event which will span 3 days at 2 local music venues will play host to 29 music acts who are coming together to celebrate the return of live music, entertain the local community and hopefully raise some vital funds for The Hamlet Charity.
Matt Garlinge, part of the fundraising team at The Hamlet said "Shannon is such a great guy and he has already done so much to promote this event. We plan to try and get some of the Hamlet team along to support the event and I know Adult Service Manager Lorraine is keen to get some of the students / members who are fans of music and gigs along to the festival. Shannon has set up an online fundraising page as people have already been keen to show their support and donate."
