The Big Thank You 2021

After a gap of two years because of Covid, The Hamlet Charity was able to celebrate with volunteers and fundraisers at the auditorium in the Forum. ‘The event is our way to say ‘thank you’ to our supporters who mean so much to us’ says Pauline Morgan , CEO, ‘ during Covid it was especially hard as we did not have any events but it was amazing the way people were prepared to go the extra mile to help us raise funds’ Over 50 people came to event and were presented with a certificate by Operations Manager Lorraine Ewing. There were presentations by families who have been supported by the charity which reminded everyone of the vital work that The Hamlet does. Norwich Harmony Chorus performed a selection of songs including ‘This is Me’ from the greatest showman which was a community collaboration with the charity just before Covid. A film was made and everyone learnt how to sign along to the song. There was even a signed Halloween Story from one of the Hamlet trainers, Midge Sturman.
