Due to promotion we have a rare opportunity for an Activity Lead. We are looking for someone with energy and new ideas to join our team.
Purpose of the role:
To plan, run and evaluate a range of activities based on students needs within Ella Road and local community. To give support and guidance to support workers. Knowledge of working with a range of young adults with disabilities including complex health needs and some behaviours.
Hours: 36 hours per week
Salary: £16,862.94 per annum
Location: The Hamlet, Adult Services, Ella Road, NR1 4BP

Successful candidates will:
- Have experience of working with individuals with disabilities and complex health needs
- Have an understanding of the importance for all students to treated as adults. To be given choice and involvement, to have fun, socialise and how staff can support this
- Have an understanding of the experiences of disabled people and their families, and an appreciation of the barriers to inclusion that they may face
- Be 18 years of age or over
