Lunchtime Assistant - Children's Service

We are looking for Lunchtime Assistants to join our Children’s Service team to assist over the lunchtime period.

We are looking for Lunchtime Assistants to support our experienced practitioners to provide exceptional care and learning opportunities over the lunchtime period for children attending the preschool and/or the Short Break play schemes.

COVID 19 Measures

Due to the current COVID 19 situation, those selected for interview will be invited to attend via Zoom.

Role Details

Role 1: 10 hours a week 11.30-1.30pm Monday – Friday during term time, and 20 hours a week 11am-2pm Monday – Friday during School Holidays.

Role 2: 4 hours per week Saturday’s only (11am-2pm)

Role 3: all of the hours listed in both Role 1 and Role 2

Salary: under 18 years of age is £4.62 / aged 18 to 20 years of age is £6.56 / aged 21 to 22 years of age is £8.36 / aged 23 and over is £8.91 an hour

Purpose and Scope of the Role

The role is to support our experienced practitioners to provide exceptional care and learning opportunities over the lunchtime period for children attending the preschool and/or the Short Break play schemes.

Supporting our Safeguarding Commitment:

You will be required to hold a satisfactory Enhanced DBS check and have supplied at least 2 satisfactory references before starting work. Any conviction or adverse report relating to care, children, vulnerable adults, or dishonesty would make a candidate unsuitable for this role.
