Specialist Play Leader

Can you use your knowledge of special needs to provide play opportunities to enable children with complex needs to access a wide range of exciting and stimulating activities? 

We need a Specialist Play Lead to carry on the work of our current post holder for the last year of our current funding through Children in Need. (We will be looking to further this funding).

The Play Leader will provide expertise and skill to adapt and lead the provision of high quality play activities in the best interest of the child and their development. These may be centre and/or community based for children and young people between the ages of 0 and 18 years.

Candidates must have a relevant, recognised level 3 qualification. 

For internal applicants this could be a 1 year secondment from your current role, giving you the opportunity to gain experience and valuable skills.

Hours: 36 hours per week including some evenings and weekends as required. Normal week: Tuesday to Saturday. 

Salary: £19,235.08 - £20,036.01 per annum
