Trustee (voluntary)

The Hamlet charity supports children and adults in Norwich and Norfolk with disabilities and complex health needs.

We offer vital support to children and young adults (aged 0 – 29 years) with complex and special needs at two sites in Norwich, and to their parents. We also run a social club called Out of Hours for adults over 16 years. (This includes children and adults with autistic spectrum disorders, life limiting and genetic conditions and physical difficulties). The board of trustees come from a range of backgrounds and include parent trustees. We meet regularly throughout the year and offer support to the staff in a number of ways.

We seek new trustees, especially those who are parents of children or young adults with a disability. We are also looking for people with skills and  expertise in health or education to join the board at this exciting time for The Hamlet.

New Trustees will join a lively and successful team of people who provide guidance and strategic direction to the Charity. All our trustees have a passion and understanding of the challenges and needs of families affected by disability.
