Overview

Our Out of Hours Club is a great place for members to nurture friendships old and new, increase their confidence and socialise in a fun, safe environment.

Out of Hours Club allows anyone over the age of 16 with a disability or complex health need, including those who have left our day services, to continue to develop and grow the friendships they have made at The Hamlet or elsewhere. Members also have opportunities to continue to meet and socialise with new people.

We offer evening and weekend activities on a bi-monthly programme, including our Saturday Club and Sports Club. Activities take place out in the community and at our Adult Services site where we have access to a wide range of facilities including use of our music studio, sensory room and accessible kitchen.

Our Sports Club is held on Monday evenings and activities include boccia, kurling, cricket, football and running. We also have trips out such as canoeing, swimming and cycling.

Saturday Club is held twice a month and offers a variety of different activities in the morning and afternoon including sports, games, arts and crafts and sensory exploration. Members have the choice of booking all day or choosing a morning or an afternoon session.

We release a programme for every two months of activities for our members to choose from. To get an idea of the activities we have available each month you can download a sample programme. In order to receive our most recent programme you will need to be a member of our Out of Hours Club. If you are interested in becoming an Out of Hours member get in touch with Lorraine Ewing or call us on 01603 616094.
