A kitchen is said to be the heart of the home and this is also true for our centres. A kitchen is vital for The Hamlet to continue to encourage Hamlet Users to develop their life skills and increase their independence and ultimately supporting their quality of life.
Our kitchen was previously a catering kitchen and far from accessible, and is now in urgent need of a full refurbishment. That’s why we’re launching a JustGiving appeal to raise £25,000 to create a safe, accessible, and fully equipped kitchen that everyone can enjoy.
This upgrade will mean so much to our Hamlet Users and staff who rely on this vital space. Every single donation – big or small – will bring us closer to making it happen.

If you have a special occasion, such as a wedding, christening, birthday or anniversary, coming up and would like to do something different, why not consider a Celebration Donation for The Hamlet?
You can invite your friends and family to donate to The Hamlet in lieu of gifts, ensuring that your special occasion makes a real difference to our work.
It's really easy to do - simply contact us and we will note the details of your special occasion and provide you with a unique reference number. You can share this with your friends and family so they can donate directly to us if they wish. You may prefer to collect donations yourself, or set up your own online fundraising page on JustGiving.
We can also send you an ecard for you to print/email to your friends and we will let you know the total amount that your Celebration Donation has raised.

Collections at Funeral
Many people choose to ask for donations to charities and good causes close to them instead of flowers at funerals. If you would like to donate to The Hamlet in lieu of flowers at a funeral, we can provide you with donation envelopes and any information needed for your order of service, etc.
