Children's Service 0- 4 Years

We offer exciting play and education opportunities for children up to the age of four.

Our activities are fun, age-appropriate and often ambitious. Based in Norwich City Centre, our services make full use of the central location as well as being building based with state of the art sensory room, purpose built kitchen, soft play room, sensory garden and secure outside play area.

Our ambition is to support our children and the young people we support to be able to do more, grow in confidence and reach their full potential. We try to promote independence and self-help as much as possible, listening and personalising their experience to their individual needs.

Referrals and visits

We welcome visits to our centre.

If you would like to speak to someone about our children services please contact manager Jayne Buckingham or phone 01603 766566.

Preschool
Early Explorers is a preschool for children aged 2 – 4 years old. It runs from Monday to Friday during term time between 9.15 am – 2.15 pm. There is a maximum of 14 children per session

We prioritise providing preschool provision for children with additional or complex health needs. Our highly experienced and qualified staff implement the Early Years Foundation Stage. Our aim is to provide inspiring activities that enable the children to learn through their interests and needs. Using observations and careful planning, we deliver a high-quality learning environment based around children's play. We also value the contribution and knowledge of parents and encourage regular discussions about their child's progress and individual learning journeys.

If you would like to speak to someone about our children services please contact manager Jayne Buckingham or phone 01603 766566.

Little Bees
Little Bees Stay-and-Play sessions 0-4 years. These sessions are for preschool-aged children and provide opportunities for both group and individual support, allowing parents and carers to meet each other and network. This can help reduce feelings of isolation, whilst providing an environment for your children to explore and have fun with other little ones.

Our general sessions welcome all children, with and without a disability. These run 10am-11,30am on Tuesdays and Thursdays (term time only).

We recently introduced Sensory Bees  exclusively for our less mobile children, whether this is because of physical health needs or age. Sensory Bees still allows for stimulating exploration but within a calmer environment. At this session, we tailor the toys, equipment, and activities to suit the mobility needs of our little ones and their grown-ups.

Sensory Bees , runs at 10am – 11.30am on Wednesdays (term time only)
