Adult Services - Activity Coordinator
We are looking for people who are organised and can support a team of Support Workers. The role is working within our adult day service. We are looking for committed, friendly, patient individuals, with good communication skills, who are able to build positive relationships with our Hamlet Users and staff.

Adult Services Activity Coordinator - 36 hours (Monday through Friday)
Rate of pay:
Annual Salary for Full Time (36 hours, pro-rated for part time employees): £23,441.60
Hourly rate: £12.88

Purpose and Scope of the Role
The Hamlet Adult Services provide support to young adults with disabilities and complex health needs through a wide range of individual and group activities at our centre and within the community.
As Activity Coordinator you will plan and run creative group and individual activities in line with Hamlet Users wishes and needs.
You will be responsible for directing Support Workers and completing risk assessments in line with activities. We aim to ensure that Hamlet Users, whatever their ability, can take as full a part as possible in their chosen activities.
You will be constantly looking for new opportunities / activities to engage Hamlet Users both in centre life and within the local community.
This is a hands on position and you will also be involved in carrying out tasks along with support workers, such as personal care, moving and handling, supporting communication and difficult behaviours, medication.
Supporting our Safeguarding Commitment:
You will be required to hold a satisfactory Enhanced DBS check and have supplied at least 2 satisfactory references before starting work. Any conviction or adverse report relating to care, children, vulnerable adults, or dishonesty would make a candidate unsuitable for this role.
