New CCTV at Marion Road
A generous donation by a local company is helping to keep our Marion Road premises safe and secure after vandals damaged our minibus.
We are delighted that a new CCTV system has been installed at our premises on Marion Road in Thorpe Hamlet due to a generous donation of £490 made by BrownTech IT Services Limited. Sadly, in December 2023 one of our specially adapted minibuses was broken into and badly damaged on two occasions by vandals whilst parked on our land. This left the vehicle un-useable which has had an impact on the number and type of activities we can provide to our service users. Unfortunately, so far, Norfolk Constabulary have been unable to identify the culprit. Thankfully, Rob Brown of BrownTech stepped forward and offered to cover 50% of the cost of having a CCTV system installed and completed the work quickly and efficiently meaning the building is now well protected.
Ellie Coulson, CEO says:
‘’We are immensely grateful to Rob for his support. Thanks to his generous donation we now have a system in place which will help to protect our property and vehicles from any further instances of vandalism. ‘’
The Hamlet would welcome contact from anyone with any information about the incident which can then be passed onto Norfolk Constabulary.
