Exciting News from Our Trustees Board!
We are thrilled to announce the appointment of two of our dedicated trustees, and would like to welcome them to their new leadership roles – Caron as Chair and Debbie as Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees, and were welcomed by the new CEO, Lorraine Ewing!
To mark the occasion, they recently visited our Adult Services sites at Ella Road and Marion Road to meet the incredible staff and students. There were smiles, chats, and it was a fantastic opportunity to connect with the students and staff about why they love The Hamlet, and see them all enjoy the activities first-hand.

“I am honoured to be the Chair of the Board of Trustees of this wonderful charity. One of the perks of the role is visiting the centres, and it was fabulous to see the amazing Adult Services team providing fun and engaging activities for our students. Thanks to all the students for making us feel so welcome.”

“Being a trustee is a voluntary job, where I use my previous business experience to help, alongside our other trustees, to make decisions about how The Hamlet is run. But today, I had the privilege of spending time with some of the students and staff at The Hamlet. It was not only a lovely experience to see all the hard work going on, and the students learning, it really is a joyful place and great fun too.”
Both the staff and students loved the visit – thank you to our new Chair and Vice Chair for your continued commitment and support!
